Responsible Gambling
18+ only. Last checked: 4 October 2026
Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to earn money. Every casino game has a built-in house edge, so the longer you play, the more likely you are to end up behind. Only stake money you can afford to lose, as you would pay for a night out, and never money meant for rent, bills or debts. You must be 18 or older, and above the legal gambling age where you live.
SmartPari's own tools
We cannot tell you which limits SmartPari offers. smartpari.com has answered every request with a server password prompt since August 2026, and its responsible gaming policy, if it has one, cannot be read from outside. The Anjouan licence validation page states that operators under an Anjouan licence must provide responsible gaming tools, including self-exclusion and deposit limits. Whether and how SmartPari does so, we could not check. Do not rely on a casino's tools alone: the steps below work whatever site you use. More on our licensing page.
Warning signs
- You spend more money or time than you planned, or keep raising your stakes to feel the same excitement.
- You chase losses by betting again to win back what you have lost.
- You borrow money, sell things or leave bills unpaid to gamble.
- You hide your gambling from family or friends, or lie about how much you spend.
- You feel restless, irritable or low when you try to cut down.
- Gambling takes the place of sleep, work, study or time with people close to you.
- You gamble to escape stress, boredom or other problems.
If any of these sound familiar, stop for now and talk to someone. The services below are confidential.
Tools you can use yourself
- Set a budget before you start and treat it as spent. When it is gone, the session is over.
- Set a time limit with a phone alarm. Online casinos have no clocks and no closing time.
- Never deposit to win back losses. The house edge does not change because you are behind.
- Ask your bank about a gambling block on your card. Many banks offer one.
- BetBlocker is free software from a registered Scottish charity. It blocks gambling websites and apps on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS. betblocker.org
- Gamban is a paid blocker for all major device platforms, with one licence for all your devices and a free trial. gamban.com
