What Is Actually Verifiable About the SmartPari Licence
Most licensing pages on affiliate sites describe licensing in general and never say anything about the casino they are promoting. This one says what we checked, when we checked it, and what the check returned.
The operator site, smartpari.com, is not publicly readable. Every path we requested on 21 August 2026 — the home page, /en, /casino, /promotions, /terms, /about, even /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml — returned HTTP 401 Unauthorized with the header WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="Please Login." That is a password prompt sitting in front of the whole domain, not a geo-block and not a redirect. Nothing behind it can be read, quoted or verified from outside.
We also checked the public review databases that normally carry licence records for an operator of any size. None of them holds an entry for SmartPari. There is no third-party record to cross-check against.
The One Other Source on This Brand, and What It Claims
A separate site, smartpari.net, publishes a full description of the casino. It is not operated by us and it is not the operator: it is another promotional page. We are reproducing its claims because it is the only second source that exists, and because reading it carefully is more useful than repeating it.

Two details in that table matter more than the rest. A page that names two different testing laboratories for the same games has not checked either of them. And a €500 bonus with no wagering multiplier published is not an offer you can evaluate — the multiplier is what determines whether €500 is worth €500 or worth nothing.
Why "Licensed by Antillephone N.V." Is a Dated Claim in 2026
For two decades Curaçao licensed online gambling through four master licence holders — Antillephone N.V., Curaçao eGaming, Gaming Curaçao and Cyber Rock Entertainment — each of which issued sub-licences to operators at its own discretion. That is the system almost every "Curaçao licensed" claim on the internet still refers to.
It no longer exists. The National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK) came into force in December 2024 and abolished the master and sub-licence model. Sub-licences were revoked, the last master licence expired on 31 January 2025, and the only valid Curaçao licence today is one issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA), which publishes its licensees in a public register.
So a 2026 page that names Antillephone N.V. as the regulator is either quoting an old seal that was never updated, or describing a licence that has since been replaced by a direct CGA one, or describing nothing at all. Those three cases look identical from outside — which is exactly why the register, and not the seal, is the thing to check.
How to Verify Any Casino Licence Yourself in Three Minutes
Every serious regulator publishes a searchable register. The check does not require any special knowledge, and it is the same four steps whatever the jurisdiction:
- Find the licence claim in the site footer and note the exact company name and licence number. A claim with neither is not a claim.
- Click the seal. A real seal is a link, and it must land on the regulator's own domain — not on a page hosted by the casino itself. An image that is not a link tells you nothing.
- Search the regulator's register for the company name, not the brand name. Operators run many brands under one company, and the register is indexed by the company.
- Read the entry: the register shows the status, the licence type and the dates. A licence that has expired, been suspended or lists a different domain is the answer you came for.

A practical warning: registers are indexed by the root domain. Operators that run numbered mirrors — brand2.com, brand7.com — will not appear under the mirror. Search the root domain, then confirm the mirror by its own footer.
What a Licence Protects, and What It Does Not
A licence is a statement that an operator met a regulator's conditions on the day it was issued and remains subject to that regulator's supervision. In practice it gives you a complaints route: an address that can fine, restrict or revoke, which is leverage a player has nowhere else.
It does not guarantee that you will be paid quickly, that the bonus terms are reasonable, or that support will answer. Those are commercial choices the licence does not reach. Two operators under the same regulator can behave completely differently, and the register will say the same thing about both.
The strength of the route also varies enormously. A UK or Malta complaint reaches a regulator with a dispute process and a record of enforcement. An offshore licence usually means a mailbox. That difference matters far more than the presence or absence of a seal.
Questions About Licensing
Where can I verify a casino licence?
In the regulator's own public register, reachable from the regulator's own domain — the CGA at curacao-gaming.cw, the MGA at mga.org.mt, the UKGC at gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Search by the company name from the footer, not the brand name, and read the status and dates on the entry rather than the seal on the casino page.
Is SmartPari licensed?
We cannot confirm it either way. The operator's own site returns HTTP 401 on every path, no independent review database holds a record, and the only second source names a Curaçao master licence under a system that ended on 31 January 2025. Anyone stating a definite answer is not working from a source we could find.
Does a Curaçao licence mean the same thing it did two years ago?
No. Until the LOK reform, Curaçao licences were sub-licences issued by four private master licence holders. Since December 2024 they are issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which supervises operators itself and publishes them. A current Curaçao licence carries more oversight than the old sub-licence did.
What should I do if a casino shows no licence details at all?
Treat the absence as the information. A licensed operator has every reason to publish its company name and licence number, because that is what its licence obliges it to do. A footer with a seal image and no number, or no footer statement at all, tells you the check cannot be completed — and an operator you cannot check is one you have no complaints route against.
